I saw a film camera for the first time at the age of 4. I was a child actor for Santosh Sivan’s debut directorial  Halo, and the madness of a film set became an obsessive unending dream that would fuel me and propel me through an almost obvious, unquestioned choice of career path.
At the age of 17, I joined a dream project for any aspiring filmmaker. Mani Ratnam’s bilingual magnum opus, Raavan & Raavanan. 14 years down the road, I have been fortunate to have experienced being a part of many such dream projects, learning from some of the best minds, about the art, craft, and aesthetics of making films, be it a 30 seconder commercial or a 3-hour Bollywood blockbuster. The innocent childhood dream still guides me, bringing in a sense of clarity regarding what I wish to do with my life. To make films… beautiful films that immortalize the world around me...
